Union Cove Released
I am delighted to share with the Sims 3 community a new World created by some of the best builders of our Forum. The beautiful town above is known as Union Cove, and it's a sight to behold. This is the most detailed world I've seen for The Sims 3 yet. It's fully balanced with an appropriate amount of spawners, and richly detailed with perhaps the most objects in a town, ever. We invite you to have a look at the new World. You can also download it free of charge with no hassle. Enjoy!
This was a secret on the forum. Several members have been running around with the rank of Top Secret for a long time. It is a special rank that gave them access to a hidden board, so they could create this work of art behind the scenes. I'd had the picture below running for a long time. It's actually the awesome "Carl's Castle" that Joria built for me for UC! A little patch of this new beauty was hiding in plain sight.

Build and Edit Section Opened
Head to the new Build and Edit section to learn about Building Houses, Edit Town, Lot Types, and little tweaks like making better pools and roofs. You'll also learn how to move and switch neighborhoods. Thanks to all members who helped make this section possible.
The beautifully built house in the screenshot above is Carl's Castle made by Builder Joria
About Carl's Sims 3 Guide, Walkthrough, and Forum Site
Born July 16, 2009, this Strategy Guide seeks to help Simmers from all over the world with detailed and informative articles, hints, and tips for The Sims 3 and its expansions. We largely favor a powergamer mindset, and shoot for making the most money, finding how it works, or doing things better and more efficiently. You'll find step-by-step instructions, and screenshots to help you accomplish things in the Sims 3. Collectively, we've written over 200 pages of content for the game. If you'd like to see a listing of every article we offer, have a look at our Sitemap. There you'll find a full list of articles, along with a search tool that will help you to track down the info you need.
We have a staff of 3, with Pam Marsden and Tom Schlueter helping Carl with guide writing and the forum. If you explore the guide you'll see we've had lots of help from our growing forum community. We have numerous volunteer moderators. To learn a little about our staff, visit the Staff section of our Sims 3 Forum. Many of our moderators have supplied walkthroughs or in-depth articles for the Guide.
It is an exciting time for us, because we find that our many hours of work will now be viewed by players with the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii versions of the game. I encourage you to tell me if there are large differences in skills or other game features as compared to what we have on the guide. If enough differences exist, a section of that article could be dedicated to listing those differences. Feel free to email carl@carlsguides.com
If you don't yet have an account, sign up at our forum to provide tips and tricks, suggestions, and corrections to the guide. You'll be helping me to improve something that has helped over 100,000 Simmers from around the world. The Sims 3 is far more complex than meets the eye, and without readers like you this guide wouldn't be nearly as accurate and helpful as it is today.
Helpful Guide & Walkthrough Sections
This is a list of the most visited, or otherwise helpful sections of the guide. We've created many in-depth articles and walkthroughs that are sure to help you improve at the game, or have an easier time making money. I encourage you to explore the guide, and if you should need help you can't find here, head to our Sims 3 Forum and ask! Our polite and friendly community loves to help.

for School- you can not see the sims at school since that is also a rabbit hole. However if you order and download Sims 3 University expansion pack- which works almost exactly like Sims 2 College Life. Hope this also helps!!
